Zygmunt Borawski is an architect, lecturer, and journalist. He studied at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio (CH), where he received his diploma in 2014. He is a co-founder of the international architectural studio A-A Collective, with which he built the Warsaw Central Square in Warsaw, finished in 2025, as well as the commemorative arch in Sønderjylland, Denmark in 2021.
Since 2020, he has been running an independent architectural practice, working primarily on single-family houses in Poland, while also participating in numerous architectural competitions, receiving several distinctions and mentions. From 2015 to 2019, he worked as Architecture and Design editor of the polish architectural magazine Przekrój.
He lectured at the Warsaw University of Technology between 2021 and 2022 and has been a teaching assistant at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio, Switzerland, since 2022.
His work spans residential architecture, public spaces, exhibitions, as well as competitions for public buildings and pavilions, with writing, publishing, and lecturing forming integral parts of his architectural practice.
